It has now become Law in the UK that all Letting Agents must display their fees on their website and in all offices.
Our Tenant’s Fees, as at the 27th of May 2015 are:
Before You Move In:
Referencing Fee – £35 including VAT – PER PERSON
Checks may include identity, immigration and Visa confirmation, financial credit checks, obtaining references from current or previous employers/landlords and any other relevant information to assess affordability.
Agreement Fee – £95 including VAT – PER TENANCY
Drawing up the agreement, arranging the tenancy; as well as contract negotiation (amending and agreeing terms with the landlord).
During Your Tenancy:
Renewal Agreement Fee: £55 including VAT
Contract negotiation, amending terms and updating your tenancy agreement during your tenancy should you agree a renewal to stay on longer than your initial term.
At the End of Your Tenancy:
Check Out Fee – Varies dependant on property size. Between £132 for an unfurnished Studio apartment and £232 for a 5 bedroom furnished property.
Prices are charged by an independent inventory company and our dependant on property size and furnishings. Prices quoted are correct as of September 2014.
Client Money Protection (CMP) is provided by ARLA – Association of Residential Letting Agents.
Independent Redress Provided by The Property Ombudsman.
